To celebrate Father's day with my family during weekends, we dined at a hotel restaurant that servers Chiu Chow Cuisines dinner buffet (to fulfill my father's desire of his old life :p).
Seafood is well-known in Chiu Chow dishes, Chiu
Chow Chilled Flathead Mullet dip with salty Puning bean
sauce offers a delectable taste, notable Pan-fried Oyster Omelette and
flavorful Oyster Congee with Minced Pork are inevitable; another soul of
Chiu Chow cuisine belongs to Chinese Marinade, also known as Lo Shui, Chiu
Chow Mixed Platter offers unique aroma; embrace Peppered Pig Stomach Soup especially in winter to warm up the body; do not miss Chiu Chow dim sum such as Leek Dumpling and Chiu
Chow Dumpling; traditional Chiu Chow dessert gives rich flavor including Water Chestnut Sweet Soup and Sago
Soup with Taro. Finish up with Chiu
Chow Kung Fu Tea. Chiu Chow Chilled
Crab would be my favorite I would say.
